While tipping isn’t mandatory in Bali, it’s appreciated if your driver provides excellent service. A tip of 50,000-100,000 IDR per day is considered generous and will be greatly appreciated by your driver. Consider tipping more if your driver:
- Goes beyond the standard itinerary
- Provides exceptional insights or recommendations
- Helps with translation or other assistance
- Makes special accommodations for your group
